Quinta do Quetzal is located in the heart of the Alentejo region on the slopes of Vidigueira. This region is sunny and warm, but as it is at the southern foot of the Serra do Mendro, it benefits from the fresh winds blowing through the mountains from the Atlantic Ocean. These conditions give the plants the warmth they need to ripen the grapes and the coolness they need to recover. Its exceptional quality allows the production of white and red wines in limited quantities, which express the character of the surrounding region. To complete the Quetzal experience, a new building has been created that houses a restaurant, a shop and an art center. The schist, which covers its walls, stands out and integrates simultaneously with fluidity in the surroundings. After mastering the secrets of Quetzal wine production, wander through the vineyards and get to know this unique terroir. Finish the visit with a lunch in the relaxed atmosphere of the Quetzal Restaurant where local products, wines and an old recipe with new clothes are the ingredients with which Chef Pedro Mendes makes this shared kitchen.

The winery and vineyards of Quinta do Quetzal are located in the most noble areas of Vidigueira, near the oldest Roman winery in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Visit the modern winery, learn the secrets of production, visit the contemporary art center, have lunch with wine tasting and win a bottle of Guadalupe wine.
