09h25 departure at your own expense from Porto Campanha station. Without a doubt, the train is an excellent means of transportation to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Douro Valley. After 2 hours you will arrive at the small village of Ferrão where transport from the Quinta will be waiting for you.
You will continue along a path with breathtaking views of the terraces until you reach one of the most iconic Quintas in the region, Quinta Nova da Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
This Quinta belongs to the Amorim Group, the largest producer of cork in the world, which produces its own wine in this boutique property.
After visiting the house-museum, the vineyards and the cellars, delight yourself with the genuine cuisine of this region. Taste the high quality olive oil produced by our own production and taste the best wines that will accompany the lunch prepared by the Chef. In this restaurant the freshest products of the season from the farm are used.
15h30 -After lunch is finished your transfer to Pinhão where
16h00 - You will embark on a relaxed ride in a typical Rabelo boat. In ancient times these boats transported the barrels of Port wine to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, located opposite the city of Porto. Today they allow us to admire the exciting landscapes of the Douro Valley from a unique and memorable perspective.
The return to the city of Porto will be done again by train at 18h14 from the Painting Station of Pinhão, famous for its beautiful tiles. You will return to Porto around dinner time.
