In the municipality of Alenquer, 45 km north of Lisbon, is located the Quinta da Boavista where the main facilities of Casa Santos Lima are located, responsible for the production of about 40% of all certified wine in the Lisbon Region. Casa Santos Lima is a family business, run by the Santos Lima family since the end of the 19th century, and is currently the largest producer of "Vinho Regional Lisboa" and "DOC Alenquer". Today, in addition to Lisbon, the house also produces wine in the Douro, Alentejo and Algarve, exporting about 90% of its production to 50 countries on five continents. Your arrival begins by a buggy ride through the vineyards: comfortably seated in this environmentally friendly trolley that fit perfectly between the lines of the vineyard, you will know the more than 40 varieties planted on the about 220 hectares of this property. Then visit the winery and the barrel room and at the end enjoy a tasting of 5 extraordinary wines from 5 regions (Algarve, Alentejo, Lisbon, Douro and Verdes).
